  How To Join Us

We welcome all singers, 16 years of age or older, who love to sing in the treble range (soprano and/or alto). Rehearsals are Monday evenings from 7-9 pm at the First UU Church in Clintonville.

We are a non-auditioned chorus and welcome diverse voices into our ensemble. We require all prospective members to meet with our Artistic Director Lisa Springer for a voice placement, allowing her to assess each singer’s vocal range and assign each person to a voice section. Vocal placements are completed for the 2026-27 season.  We are not accepting any members at this time.

This season, we are introducing a new flexible member contribution model designed to give members more choice in how they can support our chorus.

Our standard member contribution remains $60 per concert session. This year, members who are able may choose to contribute $75 or $90 to provide additional support for our chorus and help ensure that singing with us remains accessible to everyone. Members registering for the full season (fall & spring sessions) may choose $120, $150, or $180.

No matter which contribution level you choose, every member enjoys the same chorus experience and is equally valued. We simply invite you to select the contribution amount that best fits your circumstances.

If the standard $60 member contribution is more than your budget allows, please don’t let that keep you from singing with us. Reach out to our board treasurer at finance@colswomenschorus.org to learn about available assistance.

Season donation or a discussion of payment plan is required before singers may take home printed music. This is merely a good faith deposit. The chorus owns the sheet music.
