How to Join Us

We welcome all singers, 16 years of age or older,
who love to sing in the treble range (soprano and/or alto).

We are a non-auditioned chorus. Prospective members should come to
First Unitarian Universalist Church (FUUC), 93 West Weisheimer Road,
in the Clintonville neighborhood of Columbus (here's the Google map link) on either
Monday, July 29
or Monday, August 5 from 7-8pm for voice placement
and to meet our Artistic Director Lisa Springer.

Rehearsals are Monday evenings from 7-9 pm at the FUUC, beginning Monday, August 19,
continuing every Monday, except Labor Day, with a final rehearsal on Wednesday, November 20
to prepare for the
fall concert on Sunday, November 24, 2024.

Members are requested to make a $120 yearly donation to the chorus, either all in the fall or
$60 in August and $60 in January. Payment plans and scholarships are available;
simply talk with Artistic Director Lisa Springer and/or President Babette Gorman or email admin.
We would love to have you sing with us and do not want economics to keep you away!
Season donation or a discussion of plan is required before singers may take home printed music.
This is merely a good faith deposit. The chorus owns the sheet music.

Everyone, regardless of vocal ability or age, is invited to join our
fifth section
at any time throughout the year.
Fifth section volunteers–some who sing, some who don't–help us with various tasks,
including board service (only 1½ hours per month), which have kept the chorus going since 1989.

Please contact us if you have any questions.
