How to Join Us
We welcome as singers all women and those who identify as women,
16 years of age or older, who love to sing soprano and/or alto.
We began rehearsing for our fall concert in September and are now closed to new singers until January.
Please attend our concert Sunday, November 21, 2021 at 3:00 at the
First Unitarian Universalist Church, 93 West Weisheimer Road,
iI the Clintonville neighborhood of Columbus (here's the Google Maps link).
New singers will be welcomed from January 10-31, 2022 for the spring season.
That concert will be Sunday, May 1, 2022 at 3:00 at the Unitarian Church.
Rehearsals are Monday evenings from 7-9 pm at
the First Unitarian Universalist Church, 93 West Weisheimer Road,
in the Clintonville neighborhood of Columbus (here's the Google map link).
Yep, same as above.
In the fall of 2021 and until further notice,
proof of complete COVID-19 vaccination will be required
for all rehearsals and performances.
Scans or photos of vaccination cards will be checked by a board member
before each person is permitted to enter the room the first time.
In addition, masks will also be required, regardless of vaccination status,
covering the nose and mouth at all times, except when actively drinking water.
You must properly replace your mask between sips.
To help slow the spread of COVID we will take regular breaks.
We are a non-auditioned chorus. New members are requested to arrive by 6:45 at their first rehearsals
to meet the Artistic Director and let her decide which section would work best for them.
Everyone, regardless of vocal range, gender, or age, is invited to join our fifth section (see below).
Members are requested to make a $120 yearly donation to the chorus, either all in the fall or
$60 in September and $60 in January. Payment plans and scholarships are available.
Please talk with the Artistic Director Lisa Springer and/or the Treasurer Vicki Brigham or email admin.
We would love to have you sing with us and do not want economics to keep you away!
We welcome members of the fifth section at any time throughout the year.
Fifth section volunteers–some who sing, some who don't–help us with various tasks,
including board service (only 1½ hours per month), which have kept the chorus going since 1989.
